2014
the exhibition attempts to revel an art object that is invisible but not absent. pointing to a kind of quasi subject-object through a phenomenology of idea, self-concept and self-reflection. The exhibition includes a series of 3 large prints and a single public sculpture. The phrases act like floating percepts becoming a representation of an idea begging the question what is the “it.” Art object through idea as idea. In conjunction with the large prints is a large black rectangular box sculpture with a mirror mounted to one side. The object forces the viewers image to be reflected back to them as part of the art object. Art object through perception as perception.
