2009

This ongoing series of drawings representing a visual inquiry of space and shape, two- and three-dimensional, through the organization of visual elements. We latch on to what we know, and then make rationalizations from there depending on our ability to perceive and make sense of our environment. This aspect of human nature is the tool I use to push the boundaries of space and plane. This tension lies within the object, for space cannot exist with out objects in it or it becomes a void. In this work I incorporate both dimensional objects and manipulate how they are rendered to further explore this tension.
